Zoo Foundation names new executive director

The Oregon Zoo Foundation, the charitable organization that raises money in support of the zoo, has named Julie Fitzgerald as its new executive director. Fitzgerald, a former city councilor with more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, will begin her duties at OZF on April 10.
